Life Is Better Connected

We believe that to grow spiritually, you must be connected relationally. The 1st Century Church met by the thousands, but followed Jesus’ teaching and example of community through living life together by the dozen meeting in homes. Connect Groups are the driving force behind discipleship and community at Centerpoint—they are where you will be known by name. This is what keeps our church community intimate and organic, no matter how large our Sunday gatherings may grow. All you have to do is show up, join in, and be real.

Our Mission

Connect Groups provide an environment for us to intentionally grow in our relationship with God while connecting with other believers. Connect Groups allow us to more effectively share the good news of Jesus Christ by reaching our communities together. At Centerpoint, we call this “living UP, IN, and OUT.”

Lead a Group

Jesus compared leading to shepherding. Shepherds know the sheep in their care. A good shepherd guides his flock with love and kindness, pursuing each one individually while caring for the flock as a whole. This is what it’s like to lead a Group. Group Leaders do more than pursue God with their friends. They step into the authority to love and serve as a shepherd cares for their sheep.

If you have a group of friends you’d like to pursue God with, we’ll equip you with the rest.

Discipleship is people leading people as they follow Christ. Our purpose in life, as followers of Jesus, is to be His disciples. A disciple is someone who loves, follows, and joins Jesus on His mission. Centerpoint is committed to providing resources and relationships to support and strengthen your spiritual growth.

We define a disciple as someone who is actively engaged in a process of knowing Jesus more deeply and personally. A disciple is growing into an obedient follower by saturating their life with the ways of Jesus and developing a lifestyle of walking with Him. A disciple is serving God and others through their church and continuing to make disciples and produce disciple-makers.

Be Discipled.

Discipleship is the responsibility of every believer. It means learning to love and serve God at a whole new level. However, we can’t experience discipleship alone. Wherever you are in your journey, we will come alongside you. From the initial decision to believe and receive Jesus as your Savior to becoming someone who can effectively disciple another, we will help you step by step.
